A business model is a framework that describes how your product or service creates, delivers, and receives value. Before you can create a plan and financial forecast, you need to understand your business model. The business model canvas is a great tool for developing new or documenting existing business models. It is a visual chart with elements describing your business model and assists you in aligning your activities by illustrating potential trade-offs.

A budget is an essential part of any business’ roadmap. It can help established business owners gauge the financial health of their companies, measure progress and identify new investment opportunities. A well-designed budget should align with your business’ mission and vision and serve as a representation of your business’ values. The best budgets are those which can scale with your business.

Budgeting Basics. In this interactive workshop, we will help you get started on your business’ budget. You will gain a basic understanding of the key components of a budget, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. And, you will learn how to build a budget from the ground up.
