The Site

Patricia White is a Boston Housing Authority (BHA) community for low- and moderate-income elders and people with disabilities. Patricia White offers approximately 216 apartments in an eight-story building.  Built in the 1970s, the apartment complex is located on the Brighton/Brookline line near many shops and services. The mural is visible from the street.

The Artwork

Doujans D’al Hirhoal is Breton for "Respecting Longevity". Cyrille worked to create a design that brought joy through the use of color, form and energy.

"In this particular composition, I used my visual language to express nature, lifespans, cycles and beauty as a reflection of the senior residents at the Pat White apartments." - Cyrille Conan
