Health Education and Training

Engaging community members in building a healthier Boston is essential to the success of our work at the Boston Public Health Commission. Our programs cover an expansive range of health-related issues, and our outreach, education, and training efforts attempt to mirror this breadth of work.

The Commission is able to provide a variety of educational opportunities to the general public in addition to more specialized training for healthcare employees and first responders. We offer professional development courses for community health workers, emergency preparedness education for a variety of audiences, internships for youth that are interested in future careers in health, and more.
