Mental and Emotional Health

Social and emotional wellness is as important as physical health to a person’s wellbeing. BPHC makes efforts to remove the stigma associated with mental health. It aims to provide services and resources to improve the social and emotional wellness of everyone in Boston.

We work with parents, healthcare providers, and other partners to integrate early childhood mental health in pediatric settings. We also work with partners to teach over K-5 students and school staff important skills that foster social emotional wellness. By working together, we can create a strong foundation for a lifetime of success for our children.

Community violence is a too frequent occurrence in society. We make every effort to support those most affected. Our trauma response and recovery team works with community members to coordinate immediate support following a violent event.

The goal for our mental health initiatives is to support individuals and families in their community. We give support with robust services and resources that meet their unique needs.
